Frances Dowler

Frances qualified from the University of Bristol in 1977 and initially worked in the hospital service and overseas mainly in Kenya and Australia. On returning to England she worked as an adviser for BUPA Dental Cover, and as a part-time lecturer for the University of Bristol, a practice inspector for the Health Authority and as an audit facilitator for Somerset and Avon.

Frances obtained a further qualification in Homeopathic Medicine and has undertaken a year long training programme with Simon in Implantology which she introduced to the practice in 1998.

Frances and Simon are delighted with the improvements thay can now offer in the appearance and colour of your teeth as well as the increase in patient confidence which can be achieved using fixed permanent restorations based on dental implants.


Simon Robertson

Simon qualified in 1990 from the University of Bristol. After a year of vocational training Simon joined the practice in 1992.

Simon has an interest in in quality cosmetic dentistry. In 1998 both he and Frances attended a year long post-graduate course in the different implant systems available.

Both Simon and Frances have an interest in Implantology which they have now been successfully carrying out within the practice since 1998.


Sally Cantwell

Sally initially qualified as a dental nurse at the Eastman Dental hospital in London and went on to qualify as a dental hygenist at the University of Bristol Dental hospital in 1981.

She joined the practice in 1993 having previously worked with Frances in another Bristol practice. Sally enjoys all aspects of her work and has a special interest in working with nervous patients. She attends many courses in order to constantly update her knowledge. She is familiar with oral hygiene measures for patients with dental implants.

Sally also qualified as a massage therapist in 2004.
